I've been lucky enough to be able to work from home for over 10 years. During that time I've done a lot of different things. I've typed medical transcription, ran an eBay store, worked as a search engine evaluator and virtual assistant. Currently and I'm a full time blogger and freelance writer. Blogging is by far my favorite! Some of my articles are published on Associated Content, Hubpages and eHow.
When I'm not blogging and writing, I'm taking care of my husband and two children; a boy 11 and a girl 7. I've lived in Central Florida all of my life and absolutely love it. I'm definitely a Florida girl through and through.
I have a BS degree from Florida State University in Information Studies with an emphasis on web development, Internet research and media marketing. Before retiring to raise my children, I worked full time creating and maintaining Intranet sites and databases for an engineering department.
Busy Mom's Tips was my first website that I created and shortly after that Busy Mom's Tips Blog was launched. Busy Mom's Tips offers helpful tips to today's busy moms on the topics of family vacations, saving money, home decorating, cleaning, organizing, fitness and more. I am regularly asked to do product reviews for companies and their products and enjoy it very much. I love trying new products and services and letting my readers know my thoughts and opinions. I use Busy Mom's Tips to provide my readers with interesting tidbits I learn along the way to help them make their lives a little bit easier.
Blogging Hints is a blog in which I share with other bloggers all that I have learned about blogging, web design, increasing traffic, etc. I had to learn all of the ins and outs of blogging by doing A LOT of Internet research and I wanted to provide what I've learned to other bloggers to hopefully save them some time.
Work at Home Helper provides people who are interested in working from home with tips and advice that I've learned along the way about finding a work from home job. This blog covers what types of work from home jobs are available that people can start doing right away as well as the best places to look for jobs. I share my experience with job searching and what has and hasn't worked for me.
The Family Getaway Guide provides family destination reviews as well as useful information on travel tips, deals and accessories. I share my experience with traveling with kids to these destinations as well as what types of activities are a must see as well as which activities you should just skip.
