Meal Planning with Mindie: Halloween Pizza Party

Today I will be sharing two easy mini pizza recipes the kids will love for Halloween.  Just look at these fun ghosts and jack-o-lanterns.
Here is what you need for the ghosts:
French Rolls (split open and cut in half)
Alfredo Sauce
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Whole Black Olives
Pepperoni (optional)

I used Alfredo sauce instead of marinara, since I wanted these to be white ghost pizzas.
I hid a little pepperoni (my boys favorite) on a few of them, under the mozzarella cheese.
Added shredded cheese and some sliced olives for the eyes.
Then baked in a 425 F degree oven for 7-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bread is crispy.
You can garnish your serving plate with black olives sliced and made to look like a spiders.
Now how about some Jack-o-lantern fun.  Here is what we used:
English Muffins (split in half)
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Tomato Sauce
Sliced Black Olives
Pepperoni
Cherry Tomatoes
1 Green Tomato (or 1 green bell pepper)
Top your English muffins with sauce and pepperoni.
Cover with cheese then decorate with your sliced veggies and pepperoni mouth.  I used a green tomato instead of bell pepper for the stem, because we have a tomato garden full of them.
Bake in a 425 F degree oven for 7-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is crispy.
Have a happy Halloween pizza party.

  1. I made these today for my kids after school snack. They loved them. I put the pepperoni underneath the alfredo sauce.

  2. We've made pizza mummies before, but never ghosts and pumpkins! I'm in love with this idea! Now I know what I'll make for the kids on Thursday when we get back from a local trick or treat trail. :)
