I quite literally have some creepy yet tasty Halloween Finger food to share with you today. Lets start with a sweet treat. There are a lot of variations to creepy finger cookies that you can find around the world.
Here are our creepy finger food cookies we made at the Hilton house. These only took a few minutes to make, with only 3 ingredients, and were super easy for the kids to decorate.
Here is what you will need:

One tube or roll of dough should make 28 finger cookies.
I cut the tube first in half then cut out 14 long rectangular shaped cookies with each half tube.
With my fingers I rounded and shaped one end of the dough to look more like a finger. Then I pressed an almond (that I had already colored on one side with my edible markers) into the end to resemble a nail.
We colored our nails green (they will look almost black), red, and then left some plain.
Bake cookies on parchment lined cookie sheets as directed on package.
Once they are cool, take a white paper muffin cup, that you have folded three times, and wrap it around the finger to resemble a bandaged wound.
Then using your red edible marker add some drops of blood.
What we made band aids out of. We used the mini size, but regular would work as well.
Ready for the oven.
Cooling off. Yum!
Not in the mood for something sweet, well how about these savory Monster and Diva fingers, as I like to call them. Here is how I like to make mine. Take cocktail weenies and wrap them in a flour tortilla strips with garden vegetable cream cheese. You will cut a little wedge out of the tip of the cocktail weenie with a paring knife before wrapping. Bake them at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes. TIP, I used leftover ketchup packets from fast food stops, to easily apply the red nails. For the gross monster nails I used honey mustard. These look so gross but taste so good. I promise they will be a big hit at your next Halloween party.
Happy Spooking Everyone!

I like serving appetizers as the whole meal for parties. Your guests have more choices and can sample foods they might not otherwise try. Finger foods also encourage people to mingle, laugh, and talk as they eat, making a more fluid party.
