This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of ATETV.org. All opinions are 100% mine.
ATETV.org provides videos highlighting the myriad of high-tech careers available to high school seniors or those looking for a career change in the areas of math, science, engineering and technology. Additionally, ATETV showcases the newest and fastest growing technical careers, community college programs, apprenticeship programs and available job opportunities.
This is a great tool for students, teachers, counselors and parents to see what types of careers are available in these emerging technology fields, available college programs and as a way to help students communicate with potential employers. According to the Labor Department, the demand for technical based educated employees in the United States will outnumber the number of students actually being trained today. Therefore, ATETV in conjunction with its sponsor, the National Science Foundation (NSF), are providing these free videos to educate students about this demand.
ATETV offers videos which provide information about different technological careers. Video segments include information on Information and Communications Technologies, Underwater Robots, Laser Technology, Aviation Mechanics, Wind-Farming, High-Tech Agriculture and Computing and Networking. Each video segment discusses the responsibilities of these jobs as well as future growth.
These free video were produced with a grant from the National Science Foundation in order to attract young people into the Science, Engineering, Math and Technology fields. The NSF funded the project as a tool to get kids interested in the emerging fields by first telling them about the career choices and then highlighting the training options available. Additionally, ATETV is completely free with no obligation to register.
