One of Glidden's new products is the Ready to Go Paint Testers. Paint Testers contain a small portion of one of Glidden’s 282 colors, which will cover 3 square feet, and comes with its own brush. This is a great way to test and find out if that particular color will work well in the room you are planning to paint. Using one of Glidden’s Paint Testers will take the guess work out of choosing the right color for your room which is complimentary to your lighting and furnishings. Additionally, Glidden’s Paint Testers will save money and time in the event you have chosen the wrong color. I had an experience just like this in which I was painting my guest bathroom. I purchased Glidden’s Paint Tester in the color that I thought would look nice in the bathroom. However, once I applied the paint on the wall, I realized that the paint color didn’t look right with the room’s lighting. Thankfully, I had only purchased Glidden’s Paint Tester and not a whole gallon of paint.
Having Glidden Paint Testers on hand are also useful with having children in the house. I can easily touchup scuffs and scratches on the walls as well as cover up any marker stains. Glidden Paint Tests store very easily as well. These small cans take up less space than a half used gallon paint can.
Glidden offers additional tools to help with your home improvement projects. Their XL paint chips are an excellent way to help select the perfect color for your room. These XL paint chips are self adhesive and stick right on your walls so that you can get a better idea of how that particular paint color will look in your room. When I painted my kitchen, I had 4 different XL paint chips stuck on the wall to help me decide which paint worked best in my kitchen.
Another great Glidden tool is the Glidden Room Painter. This is an interactive tool that allows to choose a room template, paint the walls and select décor. This is a great way to help decorate a room. I used this tool when I was redecorating my loft. I selected a template and furniture that were similar to my room. I then used the Room Painter to experiment with which paint color would like best. I was also able to print out my finished project and compare all of the different versions I was experimenting with. I highly recommend using this tool for your next project.

Those little paint testers are a great idea!! I don't think I have any painting to do soon, but I'll keep it in mind!
